Feds Subpoena Anthony Weiner’s Phone

The scandal that was a copy editors dream. Anthony Weiner (hee-hee, Weiner) tweeted out a picture of his junk to all of his followers. He had to resign from his position as the U.S. Rep of New York’s 9th district as a result, but don’t think that taught Mr. Weiner any lessons: a subsequent 2013 campaign to become the mayor of New York city was derailed after it was revealed he was still sending sexual photos to a woman who was most certainly not his wife, this time under the pseudonym Carlos Danger, marking Weiner as one of the dumbest mayoral candidates with one of the best porn names ever.(Photo: Getty Images)

Prosecutors in the office of US Attorney Preet Bharara have issued a subpoena for Anthony Weiner’s cell phone and other records, according to law enforcement officials.

The FBI and the New York Police Department have opened preliminary investigations of allegations that the former New York Democratic congressman exchanged sexually explicit text messages with a purportedly underage girl.

I feel bad for the cops and feds who have to handle his phone. Good thing they’ve got all those rubber gloves. Run a UV light over that phone and it must look like a slice of Swiss cheese.

Yesterday I finally watched Weiner, the documentary about his disastrous NYC mayoral run. Well, I watched the first hour, at least. That was all I could take. This guy is so determined to humiliate himself that it’s too much, even for me.
