Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin got chirped by a flight attendant on his plane Thursday night.

LA Times reporter Zach Helfand tweeted that a flight attendant got on the plane’s intercom system and said, “If you’re traveling with anyone who needs assistance, either children or Lane Kiffin…”

The flight was disembarking from Los Angeles, which is the location of Kiffin’s previous head coaching stint at USC. Trojan fans, the flight attendant presumably being one, have a massive amount of disdain for Kiffin because he drove their legendary and prestigious program into the ground. USC still hasn’t recovered from the damage he’s caused even years after later. He inherited arguably the greatest program in college football history and destroyed the whole thing in just four short seasons.

Kiffin has carved out a successful place for himself at Alabama, but fans in Los Angeles really don’t care about his recent success as an offensive coordinator. (SLIDESHOW: Get College Football Started Right With These Top 25 Ranked Cheerleaders)

Also, what is Lane Kiffin doing on a Southwest plane or any commercial plane? If you’re a top coach at one of the best schools in America then you should have the foresight to get a charter jet as part of your contract. That’s just basic common coaching knowledge. Then again, nobody ever accused Lane Kiffin of having the greatest judgment in the world.
