Black NFL Star Wants No Part Of Colin Kaepernick’s National Anthem Protest

Oakland Raiders star receiver Michael Crabtree made it very clear he doesn’t want any part of Colin Kaepernick’s national anthem protest.

“I’ve let it be known I don’t have anything to do with him,” Crabtree told the media when asked about his former teammate with the 49ers. (RELATED: Hookstead’s Hot Take: America Stood Up For Colin Kaepernick, He Should Stand For The Flag)

He also added, “I just play football. I ain’t no Martin Luther King.”

Colin Kaepernick’s protest has spread to other players in the league, but not everybody in the sports world is clearly on board. NBA superstar LeBron James has said he will not protest the national anthem. (RELATED: LeBron James Announces Decision On If He Will Sit Or Stand During National Anthem [VIDEO])

The firestorm around the national anthem appears to be here to stay.
