Holy cow. Not an hour ago, I was thinking about how badly I need a new fleece vest now that it’s sweater weather outside. And now I find out that Patagonia is having a HUGE deal, which of course includes its famous fleeces. Specifically, this sale is on “past-season products.” As if for some reason past-season Patagonia products are any less desirable than whatever is in style right now. I mean, this is Patagonia we are talking about. The whole point of wearing anything Patagonia is to look like you stepped out of a time machine sent to the present from the early Reagan years. I don’t just want last season’s pullovers, I want pullovers from 40 years ago.
So, yes, I am going to take advantage of this 50 percent off deal at Patagonia. Which means yes, I want this zip-through for a paltry $44:
M’s Micro D Jacket on sale for $44
And you bet I want a $49 snap fleece, which comes in a vast variety of patterns, including this one:
M’s Lightweight Synchilla Snap-T Pullover on sale for $49
Aaaaand a $49 vest with a wacky design:
M’s Lightweight Synchilla Snap-T Vest on sale for $49
Actually, now that you mention it, I want a plain-colored one as well:
M’s Better Sweater Vest on sale for $49
The vast, vast extent of this deal is rendering me borderline catatonic. I haven’t even touched the surface here with all the options that are available. When I look at these, I don’t think “past-season” Patagonia; I just think “Patagonia.” And if I can get Patagonia fleeces for under $50, there is no question I am going to take advantage of the opportunity. You might want to get one or seven of these before I end up buying the lot.
