Supermodel Gigi Hadid is the newest addition to Reebok’s “Perfect Never” campaign, which will display the fighting side of the 21-year-old stunner.

Hadid has often called the gym her home away from home and it appears Reebok’s new campaign seeks to capitalize on that aspect of the supermodel’s life.

“Working out isn’t only physical of me. It’s mental. It helps me escape the noise in my head,” Hadid said. “It’s the only time my mind goes quiet.” (RELATED: Gigi Hadid Praises Self-Defense After Fighting Off Attacker)

The campaign launched in July with professional fighter Ronda Rousey leading off, now Reebok is looking for another badass woman to strengthen their marketing efforts. The “Perfect Never” message is meant to challenge women “to use physical fitness as an escape to drown out all of the negativity that surrounds them,” according to E! News.

Gigi used to play volleyball and was sometimes “so focused on being perfect that my coaches would take me out of competing all together. I’d focus on my mistakes which would breed more missteps—a domino effect,” Hadid admitted.

“Until I learned to change the channel, to re-focus, re-set. It was my mistakes, my imperfections that motivated me most,” Gigi added. (RELATED: Gigi Hadid Fights Off Stranger Outside Milan Fashion Show)

Hadid was recently attacked while leaving a fashion show with her sister Bella by notorious prankster Vitalii Sediuk. She attributed her volleyball and boxing experience to her instinctual reaction to wiggle free and throw an elbow at her strange attacker.

“I hadn’t been in a situation that forced me to fight back, but it just came out when he grabbed me—it wasn’t a choice. I do have that fighter in me.”
