CNN Instant Poll Of Debate Watchers Gives Victory To Pence

CNN’s instant poll of debate watchers gave the victory in the vice presidential debate to Republican Mike Pence by a margin of 48 to 42 percent.

The bad news for Democrat Tim Kaine was how the poll’s sample, described by CNN as having a “slightly Democratic advantage,” saw him as not meeting expectations.

The poll found only 38 percent of debate watchers thought Kaine did better than they expected while 43 percent said he did worse.

On the other hand, 67 percent of debate watchers thought Pence did better than they expected, only 14 percent said he did worse.
