New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has had a rather slow start through four games of the NFL season, and his fantasy football owners are pissed. But just as you could expect from Gronk, he doesn’t care one bit.
Gronkowski has been dealing with a hamstring injury, which has limited his time and production on the field. He’s only recorded one catch for a whopping 11 yards thus far.
The Patriots star told reporters Wednesday he “can’t even go to the grocery store without getting yelled at.” And his response to that is, “Why did you draft me then, baby?”
Even former New England Patriots star Drew Bledsoe told the tight end to “pick it up a bit,” but, once again, Gronkowski doesn’t care.
That’s ridiculous. Can’t believe some people. (But seriously Gronk, I need you to pick it up a bit. Getting killed here.) https://t.co/q7QvCGqGXj

He’s not going to lose any sleep about your football fantasies. “I mean, it’s real football,” Gronkowski said. “That’s what I’m really only worried about is going out there and getting the W. If we get the W and I have no catches, I’m satisfied, man, no matter what.”
Although Gronk hasn’t played to his standards in the first few games of the season he said, “when I can get rolling, I’ll get rolling.”
