Joe Scarborough and MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” crew claimed that Bill Clinton “accidentally told the truth” when he recently criticized the Affordable Care Act.

“Nick, you said that was just Bill Clinton telling the truth,” Scarborough posed to guest Nicholas Confessore. Why would he start now?”

“He’s describing actual problems with the program, which is that too many insurance plans are still too expensive on the exchanges, and it’s becoming a problem,” Confessore responded. “That’s actually a real thing.” (VIDEO: Chelsea Sticks Her Head In The Sand When Asked About Bill’s Obamacare Takedown)

“He accidentally told the truth,” Scarborough chimed in. “You know, the thing is he sounds a lot like Republicans when he says you’re penalized if you work hard. The harder you work, the more you’re penalized.”

“And if you work 60 hours a week, you’re going to work yourself right out of Obamacare, which is of course, I mean, my gosh, that’s what I campaigned on in basically 1994. The system is set up to discourage hard work.”

“He softened it there, and he tried to soften it the other day,” added co host Willie Geist. “When he was on the podium, he said small business people are getting killed. Those were his words. They’re being killed, and he said it was the craziest thing in the world.” (VIDEO: Bill Doubles Down On Obamacare Attacks: ‘There’s A Big Problem’)

“He called it a crazy system,” agreed Scarborough. “It’s the craziest thing in the world. People out there busting it 60 hours a week wind up with premiums doubled and coverage cut in half. It’s the craziest thing in the world. There’s no coming back from that.”
