Donald Trump accused the Obama administration of allowing illegal immigrants into the country so they could urge them to register to vote and support Democrats.
“They are letting people pour into this country so they can go and vote,” Trump remarked Friday morning during a meeting at Trump Tower in Manhattan, according to a pool report by the Wall Street Journal’s Reid Epstein.
Trump made these comments after speaking to Art Del Cueto, vice president of the Border Patrol Council who said the administration had told border patrol agents not to deport illegal immigrants with criminal records, “so they can vote.”
The administration has also urged UCIS personnel to put in overtime hours to swear in new citizens before the election, which has led to at least hundreds of individuals becoming U.S. citizens who never should have been naturalized.
