The internets are having a good laugh at a Trump supporter who is calling Beyoncé fan Hillary Clinton hypocritical for criticizing Donald Trump’s sexually aggressive rhetoric.

Put aside the lame attempt at misdirection, and she actually has a point—just not the point she’s trying to make. The truth is that our culture has coarsened, and reality star Donald Trump is the political manifestation of this coarsening.
Trump’s success is only possible in a world where our entertainment industry has first created a permission structure for his rhetoric and behavior.
If you are worried that America is in the midst of cultural degradation, then Donald Trump is the symptom, not the cure.
