Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign staff went haywire when they found out the government proposed releasing Clinton’s work-related state department e-mails in January 2016, according to an e-mail released Tuesday through WikiLeaks.

“DOJ just filed a briefing saying the gov’t proposes releasing HRC’s cache of work-related emails in January 2016,” Brian Fallon, press secretary for Hillary Clinton, wrote in a staff e-mail. Fallon appears to be writing from his own personal g-mail account, not a Clinton campaign e-mail address.

Cheryl Mills, longtime Clinton chief aide, responds dumbfounded and flustered, saying “get out!???”

Director of Communications for Clinton 2016 Jennifer Palmieri wants an immediate damage control meeting, responding to the thread: “Cheryl – could we do a call early tomorrow? Like 8 or 830?” Palimieri also notes that Hillary will be “in front of the press,” tomorrow and that “Huma and Podesta” will be in attendance. Obviously, the concerns are rising in the Hillary camp.

Mills wants an even earlier meeting, “earlier is better-7:30am?” Huma Abedin, top Hillary aide, responds that she will “call in at 6:30.”

At this point, the entire chief press team for Hillary Clinton is on full alert.

Fallon then tells the group that: “DOJ folks inform me there is a status hearing in this case this morning, so we could have a window into the judge’s thinking about this proposed production schedule as quickly as today.”

In Fallon’s statement it is implied that the Clinton campaign is getting information from inside the DOJ.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Fallon informs the press team and top Clinton aides that the DOJ will be “proposing a revised schedule for producing the emails — this time on a rolling basis, in accordance with the judge’s order.”

In response to the leak of over 4,000 e-mails on Monday, Fallon tweeted out the following statement:
