Tim Kaine struggled to defend internal Clinton campaign emails during a Sunday morning interview with ABC’s Martha Raddatz.
“Look, Martha. I don’t give credence to any of those dumped documents because I don’t even know if those are accurate,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee stated. “They are part of an effort by the Russians and WikiLeaks.”
“I just want to say the writer of these emails said he wrote them,” Raddatz noted.
“Yeah, but but but this is an important topic because everybody needs to know about these emails,” Kaine responded. “And it’s completely inaccurate.”
“Now was it inaccurate because the sender didn’t know what he or she was talking about? Was it inaccurate because it was doctored? I have no way of knowing.”
