Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton traveled with “hand-picked” media and endangered Department of State staff to get photo ops for her 2016 campaign, newly-released FBI documents claim.

The FBI released several interview summaries Monday, which were taken from its lengthy investigation into Clinton’s private email server. One of the interviews is with a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) special agent who previously worked for the State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS) during Clinton’s tenure.

The agent said several negative things about Clinton during her interview, but her most severe accusation was that Clinton allegedly endangered Department of State officials through her pursuit of photo ops for her future presidential campaign.

The agent points to a visit Clinton made to Jakarta, Indonesia just a month into her tenure as secretary of state. During the visit, the agent said, Clinton demanded that her detail make a visit to a dangerous neighborhood in Jakarta to hold a photo op for her “clean cooking stoves” initiative. “The DS advance team recommended against traveling to this area because the route could not be secured and was lined with dangerous circumstances and individuals,” the agent said, according to the FBI’s summary. Nevertheless, the visit was made, because “she wanted it.”

“DS agents felt this excursion into potentially hostile areas placed CLINTON, her staff, the media, and her security detail in unnecessary danger in order to conduct a photo opportunity for ‘her election campaign,'” the summary continues. “DS agents had the perception that CLINTON was using her position as Secretary of State to campaign for President of the United States.”

The agent added that it was the perception of Diplomatic Security that Clinton “traveled with hand-picked media who would present her in favorable light in order to garner political support.”

The agent pointed to another incident of Clinton supposedly endangering those around her due to a disregard for safety. For safety purposes, the agent said, Clinton’s armored limousine doesn’t allow the passenger windows to open, though the driver’s window can be opened slightly. During a visit to a particularly dangerous West Bank neighborhood, the agent said, Clinton ordered her limousine driver to open his window.

“[Redacted] initially declined to respond to CLINTON’s request; however, repeated demands by CLINTON forced him to open his window despite the danger to himself and the occupants,” the summary says.
