Newly released emails appear to show New York Times reporter and CNBC anchor John Harwood congratulating Hillary Clinton campaign manager John Podesta on Clinton’s victory in the Nevada caucuses in February.

Other emails released by Wikileaks Monday show Harwood, whose credibility has been damaged by leaked emails revealing his closeness with the Clinton campaign, discussing a potential Joe Biden candidacy, a prospect Harwood treated with disdain.

Harwood served as a debate moderator for one of the Republican debates. He later bragged about provoking Donald Trump during that debate in an email to Podesta last December.

Three months later, Harwood appeared to congratulate Podesta on the victory in the Nevada caucuses. As Clinton emerged victorious from the February 20 caucuses, Harwood sent an email to Podeata with “Congratulations” in the subject line.

Harwood didn’t put anything in the body of the email, which he sent close to midnight on the 20th.

In an August 21, 2015 email, as speculation swirled about a potential Biden candidacy, Harwood said in an email to Podesta that he “cannot believe Biden story is leading the paper.”

Harwood went on to scoff at both Biden’s potential candidacy and the FBI’s criminal investigation of Clinton, writing: “correct me if I am wrong, since you would know better, but it strikes me that ‘Biden is actively exploring’ is the new ‘criminal referral of Hillary Clinton’ if you know what I mean.”

In another email on October 21, 2015 — the day Biden announced he would not be seeking the presidency — Harwood gloated to Podesta that events had turned out the way he had predicted. Harwood titled the email “Biden,” and wrote in the body of the email, “told you so.”

“I will never doubt you again,” Podesta replied. (RELATED: CNBC’s John Harwood Advises Clinton Campaign, Gloats About Provoking Trump At Debate)

Previously released emails have shown Harwood bragging about provoking Trump as a debate moderator, and warning the Clinton campaign about other candidates, as well as lavishing praise on Clinton.

Harwood has not replied to The Daily Caller’s requests for comment.
