Republican nominee Donald Trump raised $611,000 between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, the hour before the debate, according to a tweet from senior communications advisor to Trump, Jason Miller.

Both candidates launched pre-debate online fundraising efforts, with Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton sending out a series of emails calling the third presidential debate the “last big moment” in the 2016 presidential campaign.
“We’re coming up on what might be the last big moment of the campaign until the end — the final debate, and Hillary’s last chance to show the entire nation what she’s made of before Election Day,” the fundraising email read. “Today is your VERY last chance to be a Presidential Donor, too — chip in before tonight’s deadline at midnight.”
Trump sent out emails to supporters, and tweeted calls for donations, telling supporters that son Eric Trump will compile a list of those who supported Trump during the debate.
Miller sent another tweet adding that it was not too late to send in money to the final stretch of the campaign.
