Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton completely ignored the news the FBI is reopening the email investigation in her first public remarks since the news broke Friday.

The news broke as Clinton was on her way to a rally in Iowa and apparently caught the campaign completely off guard. She ignored initial questions shouted by the press corps as she got off the plane, and reporters onboard said the plane did not have wifi during the two-hour flight.

Director James Comey announced the FBI is reopening the email investigation in a letter to Congress Friday, after discovering new emails apparently “pertinent” to the case.

“Although the FBI cannot yet assess whether or not this material may be significant, and I cannot predict how long it will take us to complete this additional work, I believe it is important to update your committees about our efforts in light of my previous testimony,” he wrote.

Clinton did not mention the news in her address to the crowd in Cedar Rapids.
