Phoenix, Ariz. Sheriff Joe Arpaio filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission Thursday against a George Soros-funded committee.

Arpaio complains that the group, called Maricopa Strong, failed to provide him with a copy of an ad 24 hours before the group sent it to local stations to air.

The ad shows a Republican voter who no longer supports the sheriff because he “failed to serve over 40,000 warrants,” according to the video. The video also accuses Arpaio of not investing a child molestation case.

Representatives from Maricopa Strong told the Associated Press that they gave the Arpaio campaign the required notice.

Democratic billionaire George Soros donated $300,000 to Maricopa Strong over the course of the campaign.

This isn’t the first time that this type of complaint has been filed with a Soros-backed group, AP reports. Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery filed a complaint against a committee opposing his re-election bid.
