Last weekend, employees of the Warren County Democratic Party headquarters showed up to work to find quite a shit show — literally.

Saturday, Democratic Party Chairwoman Bethe Goldenfield posted a picture to Facebook showing a large pile of manure that had been dumped outside the Democratic Party headquarters in Warren County Ohio. In the post, Goldenfield condemned the dumping, asking, “What reasonable person thinks this is OK????”

Warren County Lt. John Faine identified James Pinell as the perpetrator. Pinell was arrested Monday after a video showed footage of his truck dumping the manure. Pinell was charged with one count of criminal mischief and a third-degree misdemeanor and was handed a $500 fine. If convicted, he may have to pay for the removal of the manure.

Although he faces up to 60 days in jail for the crime, Pinell told the Cincinnati Enquirer that he has no regrets. He even plans to frame his citation.

“I didn’t care if I got caught,” he says. “The reasons for doing it is as big as the pile itself.”

Pinell claims his choice of dumping location wasn’t random. He chose the local DNC headquarters in protest of a potential Hillary Clinton presidency, Clinton’s stance on abortion and her use of a private email server.

Pinell, a self-proclaimed “hardcore” Republican, also took responsibility for a similar manure dump at the DNC HQ in 2012. The reason behind that dump? He wanted to show his disdain for Obamacare.

Pinell has voted in Republican primaries in the past and plans to vote for Donald Trump this upcoming week, but Jeff Monroe, the Warren County Republican Party Chairman, says Pinell doesn’t speak for the party.

“I’m glad,” Monroe said regarding Pinell’s arrest. “As suspected, the Republican Party had nothing to do with this.
