North Korea’s young dictator visited a special operations unit tasked with eliminating South Korean leaders and inspected its combat readiness.

Kim Jong-un praised the troops of Korean People’s Army (KPA) Unit 525 for their readiness to engage the enemy in combat during his visit Friday, the Yonhap News Agency reported.

Unit 525 is a special unit organized by the North Korean dictator to “wipe out the human scum who have committed high treasons,” a reference to South Korean government officials, specifically the residents of the South Korean equivalent to the White House, the Korean Central New Agency (KCNA) revealed.

Kim personally guided several drills, noting that each of the soldiers could best a hundred fighters with iron fists and called them crack shots with impeccable aim.

The unit is of great importance to the “supreme leader,” who ordered his spec ops soldiers “to stab the enemy hearts with sharp daggers and break their backs.”

Friday’s inspection is likely a response to South Korea’s Korea Massive Punishment and Retaliation (KMPR) strategy, a major plan for the elimination of Kim Jong-un, other state leaders, North Korea’s nuclear facilities, and other important military installations if a North Korean nuclear assault on the South appears imminent.

Seoul is “considering launching a special forces unit to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong-un,” South Korean Defense Minister Han Min-koo said in September. South Korea has already started putting together a spec ops team to carry out the task.

“North Korea seemed to be advertising its special military unit in response to (what it called Seoul and Washington’s) move to hit the North’s leadership,” Chang Yong-seok, a Seoul National University Institute for Peace and Unification Studies researcher, told Yonhap reporters.

Pyongyang regularly expresses outrage over South Korea’s defense plans, criticizing everything from surgical and decapitation strikes to the U.S. deployment of a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile shield in the South.

“The nuclear warheads fired by the KPA as punishment will completely reduce to ashes Seoul, the center of confrontation,” the General Staff of the KPA said in response to South Korea’s KMPR strategy. “The ‘operation for eliminating the leadership of the north’ much touted by the Park Geun Hye group would result in reducing Seoul to debris, and the U.S. introduction of nuclear war means would put the aggressor forces’ bases in the theatres of Pacific operations into a nuclear nightmare,” he added.

The commander of the United States Forces Korea just announced that THAAD will be deployed in eight to 10 months. Pyongyang has yet to respond, but is unlikely to respond positively.

“If THAAD is deployed in South Korea, it will be exposed to nuclear strikes here and there as the primary target,” the KPA said in September.
