GOP vice presidential nominee Mike Pence and House Speaker Paul Ryan are set to campaign with Sen. Ron Johnson, who is in a tight race against former Sen. Russ Feingold, at a Field Park rally in Mukwonago, Wisc., Saturday.

Tomorrow, we’ve got Mike Pence coming to Mukwonago. I’m spending the next four days on a bus tour with Ron Johnson and Mike fortunately is coming and we are going to do a big rally in Mukwonago tomorrow,” Ryan told WTAQ Friday. “We’re very excited. Wisconsin, as we’re used to, is a battleground state and so all Wisconsinites need to get out and vote.”

While Ryan announced he was no longer campaigning for or defending GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s comments following a 2005 video being leaked showing the candidate making lewd comments about women, he and Pence have been long-time friends and share similar political ideologies.

Johnson and Feingold, whom he unseated in 2010, are currently polling within the margin of error just days ahead of the election.

The Wisconsin senator spoke at a rally with Trump and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker Tuesday.
