This is pretty impressive. Hundreds of customers have reviewed this Zelite Infinity Japanese chef’s knife, and it comes away with a rock-solid 4.8-star aggregate rating. That’s what you get when nine out of every 10 customers give an item the perfecto 5 out of 5 score. This knife uses premium Japanese steel, features a Damascus pattern and is liquid nitrogen tempered to ensure timelessness.

Also, the rating probably deserves to be even higher, considering that reviews like this only bestow a measly 2 out of 5 stars:

On my birthday, my wife and daughter gave me this Zelite Infinity Chef’s Knife.
I was so excited because of how sharp this knife was! It has a 12 degrees cutting angle, which make the blade so sharp.
The Zelite knife is now my best knife.

Several weeks ago, before I bought my Zelite knife, I met my friend at his restaurant where he showed me a Japanese chef’s knife called “GOUGIRI“.
It has beautiful damascus blade just like the Zelite knife, and Pakkawood D-shaped handle.
He recommended to have one, so I decided to purchase it. I’ll compare my Zelite knife to that one.

First of all, this knife also cuts amazingly as the Zelite knife.
In my opinion, the Zelite knife is a little bit heavier than that knife. So personally, the other knife is better when I’m using it at my job for a long time. However, some people like heavier knives so you should consider your preference!
The blade shape is also slightly different. When I cut a whole chicken or crabs, I use the new knife.
Because its blade is not too tapered and too thin either, so it does not chip when using it on tough ingredients. I’m too scared to use my best Zelite knife on these ingredients.

Also, if you purchase a Japanese steel knife, you have to sharpen it with a whetstone.
When I sharpen my Zelite knife, I feel the VG10 steel blade is harder than the other knife made of AUS8 steel, so it may be a bit more difficult to sharp for a beginner.
This is why I think this Zelite knife is great for people who already own several Japanese steel knives that know how to sharpen it with a whetstone, whereas GOUGIRI is better for beginners.

I hope my review will help whoever wants to buy an amazing knife!

That seems like a 5-star review if I ever saw one. Not sure what the reviewer was thinking there. Anyway, this knife normally costs $210 but is currently on sale for only $125. So, yeah, as the headline says, it is over $80 off.

Zelite Infinity Chef’s Knife, 8-inch on sale for $125.97

The official product name here is way longer: “Zelite Infinity Chefs Knife 8 inch – Best Quality Japanese VG10 Super Steel 67 Layer High Carbon Stainless Steel-Razor Sharp, Superb Edge Retention, Stain & Corrosion Resistant! Full Tang Ideal Gift.” But honestly that seems a tad excessive. I think I’ll stick with “Zelite Infinity Chef’s Knife, 8-inch.” Then again, at this price, I suppose they can call it whatever they’d like.
