The post-election honeymoon period for President-Elect Donald Trump was always going to be short with the radical left, but it appears have been stopped before it started. Less than 24 hours after his stunning electoral victory, protesters have taken to the streets of major cities across the country to express outrage over Trump’s victory.

CNN contributor and former Obama administration official Van Jones says this is just “the beginning of the anti-Trump resistance.”

Appearing on “Anderson Cooper 360” Wednesday night, Jones said no matter who won Tuesday’s election, the other side would’ve been out in the streets protesting. “If you talk to the actual people at the base, here’s what hear: terror. Terrified Latinos, terrified Muslims. I had a Muslim mother asking me ‘Should I leave this country? Are they going to intern us?” Jones said.
