British News personality Jonathan Pie completely destroyed Democrats over Donald Trump winning the presidency.
“Not everyone that voted for Trump is a sexist or a racist,” Pie explains in a video he shared on Thursday that has since gone viral.
Pie admits he wasn’t pulling for Trump and wanted Hillary Clinton to win but lays out over and over again in a very NSFW rant about how much the Democratic party really screwed up with a candidate who has been “cozying up to the banks” her entire life and calling Trump supporters a “basket of deplorables.” (RELATED: Celebrities In Mourning: Can America Ever Win Back Their Trust?)

“Most people didn’t vote for her, not because she’s a woman, they didn’t vote for her because she offered no palpable change whatsoever,” Pie said. “Same old shit. Trump represents a change, a terrifying change, but a change nonetheless.”
“How many times does the vote not have to go our way before we realize that our argument isn’t won by hurling labels and insults..Tory majority, Brexit, Trump,” he added. “When will we learn that the key is discussion. If you are unwilling to discuss, then you are creating the conditions in which Donald Trump and people like him can thrive.”
“But instead of persuading people to vote, she just courted celebrity endorsements and then lost,” he continued. “And then she loses it and loses the election and she locks herself in her hotel because she is too upset. Either way grow up. I have no sympathy for her whatsoever. Be a better candidate.”
Pie then mentions how Clinton labeled half of Trump supporters a “basket of deplorables” and wondered what would happen when you insult people.
“When has anyone ever been persuaded by being insulted or labeled,” Pie said. “So now if you are on the right or against the prevailing view you are attacked for having an opinion. That’s why people wait until they are in the voting booth, cause no one’s watching. There’s no blame or shame and you can finally say what you really think and that is a powerful thing.”
“It’s time to stop ignoring your opponents or worse trying to silence them,” he added. “It’s time to stop banning people from speaking in universities. It’s time to stop thinking that reposting an article on your Facebook feed is political engagement.”
“Being offended doesn’t work any more,” he continued. “Throwing insults doesn’t work anymore. The only thing that works is fucking bothering. And all you have to do is engage in the debate and talk to people who think different to you and persuade them of your argument.”
