Outkick the Coverage founder and Fox Sports pundit Clay Travis shredded Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans for kneeling during the national anthem.

Evans decided to sit during the national anthem because of his dislike of president-elect Donald Trump. Travis wasn’t tolerating any of it. (SLIDESHOW: These Gorgeous Patriots Love The American Flag)

He said the following Monday morning on his radio show “Outkick the Coverage”:

You don’t protest election results when they’re free and open in our country. You show up and you actually vote. If your side wins you celebrate. If your side loses you deal with the fact that guy who is not the president, or the girl who is now the president, is somebody you might not like. But he is your president and he is our president, and that’s regardless of what race you, that’s regardless of what ethnicity you are, that’s regardless of what religion you are. Donald Trump is the president-elect of the United States. And come January when he signs and takes the oath of office he will be the president for the next four years and you’ve got to deal with it. Protesting a presidential election is literally the dumbest protest in the history of America. Mike Evans you’re an idiot.

Evans is just the latest NFL player to sit or kneel during the national anthem. The protests across the league were started by San Fransisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who has continued to protest the national anthem since the preseason.
