This is perfectly evidenced by Men’s Wearhouse currently hosting a “Pre-Holiday Sale.” Until November 21 (next Monday), pretty much everything in the online store is 40 percent off. This includes an extra 40 percent off all clearance items, although shoes are only 30 percent off. Whatever. Beggars can’t be choosers.
