Nearly eight years after President Barack Obama removed the bust of Winston Churchill from the Oval Office to another location in the White House, President-elect Donald Trump told Brexit movement leader Nigel Farage Saturday he plans to bring the bust back into the Oval Office.
It was a great honour to spend time with @realDonaldTrump. He was relaxed and full of good ideas. I’m confident he will be a good President. pic.twitter.com/kx8cGRHYPQ

Especially pleased at @realDonaldTrump‘s very positive reaction to idea that Sir Winston Churchill’s bust should be put back in Oval Office.

Obama told ABC News back in April his reason for moving the World War II-era British Prime Minister’s bust from the Oval Office to the White House Treaty Room was that, “as the first African-American president,” he believed it fitting to place bust of Martin Luther King Jr. in the Oval Office instead.
He added that there are “only so many tables where you can put busts, otherwise it starts looking a little cluttered.”
