In the process of organizing his transition plan, president-elect Donald Trump has met with several noteworthy guests in Trump Tower. Much has been made of the visits of Sens. Ted Cruz and Jeff Sessions, both of whom have merited Cabinet speculation. Less discussed, however, was the visit of designer Tommy Hilfilger, best known for his popular line of men’s clothing.
Other than reports and photographs of Hilfiger entering Trump Tower (see below), the media has refrained from speculating as to why Hilfiger would be at Trump Tower. Apparently, he showed up within an hour of Cruz. Whatever the reason, a few things are clear – Tommy Hilfiger makes the sort of clothing Republicans love, and his successful business career renders any advice he has to give potentially valuable.
While we’re on the topic of Tommy Hilfiger, the brand is currently running a deal that offers $30 off purchases of $100 and $50 off purchases of $150. So, do with that what you will.
