Two pandas born in the U.S. are struggling to adapt to life in China, specifically because of the food and language changes.
Pandas Mei Lun and Mei Huan are refusing to eat their food, and have no idea what the trainers in Chengdu are trying to tell them since they only know English. The two pandas want crackers and cookies and only respond to English commands.
“The naughty twins refused to eat traditional Chinese food like steamed bread of corn, and preferred American biscuits instead,” explained the Xinhua News Agency.

The pandas arrived at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding on Nov. 5. Mei Lun and Mei Huan were the first pandas born in the U.S. to survive.
Their parents, Lun Lun and Yang Yang, have been on loan to the Atlanta Zoo since 1999, reports CNBC.
