Migrants in Germany set fire to the building they were housed in because they we’re getting enough sweets.

The building, which burnt down in June to the tune of around €10 million in damage, housed some 280 refugees. It often drew the attention of the police; they were reportedly called to the center 89 times in 2016.

Anger apparently grew out of the denial of proper snacks — specifically gummy bears and Nutella. The migrants were also angry because sweets were not made available at night. The men who allegedly set the fire have been identified as “Adel D” from Algeria and “Mohammed B” from Morocco.

They reportedly doused mattresses with flammable liquid and said, “We had to do it so that things change.”
