Electric shavers are a game changer. I always pooh-poohed them as inferior to actual razors, but then I was gifted one and completely changed my mind. They make shaving much easier and much more convenient. And do the the nonsensically exorbitant prices of razors, they actually are cheaper in the long run.

Today, as part of Amazon’s Cyber Monday event, a host of shavers and other hygiene products from brands like Philips Norelco and Braun are on sale. The deal is titled “up to 40 percent off hair tools, shavers and more,” but as this example demonstrates, sometimes it is even more:
