Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders stopped by TBS’ Tuesday broadcast of “Conan,” during which he called Donald Trump’s Twitter game “delusional” and “totally insane.”

“First of all, it’s delusional,” the Larry David look-a-like said of Trump’s recent tweets on flag burning and voter fraud. “Nobody believes that who studies elections or election patterns.”

“This is what’s scary about that,” he explained. “He’s sending a signal to Republicans all over this country, Republican leaders, and what he is saying is we have got to suppress the vote.”

“We have got to make it harder for poor people, people of color, immigrants, elderly people to participate because they may be voting against us.”

“That is scary,” Sanders added, “That is really what he is saying with that tweet.”
