On Cyber Monday, the Daily Dealer told our readers about the SkyBell, the video WiFi doorbell that sends you a live stream of what happens on your doorstep. (It also, of course, rings when someone presses it). We got our readers $60 off with the code CYBER60. Because of the nature of the code (it has the word cyber in it), it initially seemed like the discount only lasted on that one special day. But it was extended, and now we know that our readers can get $60 off the SkyBell until Saturday, December 3. (And also free shipping).

The SkyBell has been called “home security disguised as a doorbell.” It allows you to see who’s out front and also talk to them. So you can tell the mailman where to put your package to protect it from porch pirates. So you can tell a potential burglar that you’re on your way home and you have a gun. It also features night vision and motion sensor technology, so you get an alert when someone doesn’t ring the bell.

The video below makes a convincing case for the SkyBell. After watching it, I immediately told my roommates we need one for our house. (We could also connect it to our Amazon Echo).

And, four days after first reading it, this testimonial still gets me:

“We told the stranger we were inside eating dinner and he must have the wrong house, but really we were out of the country. A house several doors down ended up getting robbed that same evening.”

Can’t believe something like this only costs $139. Your family, your house, your belongings. All worth WAY more than that.
