The MSNBC host opened by reading a New York Times excerpt, detailing how Iranian officials are doubling-down on that whole “death to America” thing.

“I’m so glad we gave them billions and billions of dollars and so glad we did that nuke deal with them,” Scarborough sarcastically exclaimed. “Really. I think we’re in better shape now with Iran than we were because, you know, at least they’re not burning the American flag while they’re screaming death to America.”

“Well, there are five other countries in on the deal,” MSNBC’s Mike Barnicle noted.

“Well, let them be in the deal,” Scarborough responded. “Let them be in the deal. We need to get out of the deal. We never should have got into the deal.”

“We gave these people how many billion? 150 billion?,” he continued. “What does it matter? It matters because they’ve been the epicenter of terrorism since 1979, and we’ve given them hundreds of billions of dollars to kill Americans and undercut American interests across the globe.”

“Well, let’s just go in there,” co-host Mika Brzezinski interrupted. “What are you saying?”

“I’m saying we shouldn’t have given them 150 billion or however much we gave them,” he testily answered.
