A senior engineer at Facebook was arrested Dec. 21 after allegedly trying to solicit sex from a girl he thought was 15 years old.

“How many times do you think you’ll make me cum?” Dov Katz, head of the computer vision at Facebook-owned Oculus, asked, according to court documents obtained by GeekWire. “You have a lot of condoms?” he continued.

The Facebook employee had the intention of paying $360 to have sex without a condom, according to KING5, the first publication to report the arrest.

Katz, who is an Israeli citizen residing in California, is accused of responding to an online advertisement selling sex for money. The ad was placed by an undercover officer at the Tukwila Police Department in Washington state, just south of Seattle. Oculus, the virtual reality company, has an office in Seattle.

Katz originally stated that he wanted the girlfriend experience and “Someone to cuddle with.”

After some back-and-forth, the involved officer provided fees for the ostensible sexual services and texted Katz that she was staying at the Embassy Suites hotel in Seattle.

Originally, the law enforcement official said the girl he thought he was talking to was 19, but then later changed the story to see if Katz would change his mind.

“Can I be honest with you?” Officer Sudel texted Katz, according to the legal documents. “I’m new to all this and a little younger then my ad says but I promise u won’t be disappointed” Sudel texted, in which Katz responded “How much younger?”

After Sudel replied “15..I’m sending my pic just plz don’t say anything ok?” Katz simply replied “sure.”

When Katz eventually arrived at the hotel room, he was met by Sudel and other law enforcement. He was immediately placed under arrest for commercial sexual abuse of a minor. Police found $600 and a cell phone on his person.

Katz said he was there to rescue the underage girl, but police advised that he should’ve notified the police if that was his true intention.

Katz’s bail was set at $125,000 and he will be arraigned on Jan. 5, reports GeekWire.
