Chicago Review Of Books is pledging not to review any books printed by Simon & Schuster in 2017 following the publisher’s reported book deal with gay conservative pundit Milo Yiannopoulos.

Threshold Editions, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, signed a deal for Yiannopoulos to write “DANGEROUS,” the right-wing commentator’s first autobiographical book, earlier this year. (RELATED: Liberals Are Losing Their Minds Over The Milo Yiannopoulos Book Deal)

Chicago Review of Books officially tweeted a promise to blacklist all Simon & Schuster books in 2017 due to the publisher’s “validation of hate.”

In response to this disgusting validation of hate, we will not cover a single @simonschuster book in 2017. https://t.co/NAJhTgdeyX

The Chicago Review of Books’ mission statement says they seek to cultivate “diverse voices,” and claims their contributing reviewers “are as diverse as the books we cover.”

Yiannopoulos, an editor for Breitbart News, was permanently banned from Twitter in July after many of his followers harassed Saturday Night Live and Ghostbusters actress Leslie Jones, but says that being censored has not caused his popularity to diminish.

“Every line of attack the forces of political correctness try on me fails pathetically,” Yiannopoulos told The Hollywood Review. “I’m more powerful, more influential and more fabulous than ever before, and this book is the moment Milo goes mainstream. Social justice warriors should be scared — very scared.”

The Hollywood Review reports that Yiannopoulos’ advance for the book could be as much as $250,000. Though Yiannopoulos has not disclosed the details of his contract, he was apparently impressed at the size of the deal.

“I met with top execs at Simon & Schuster earlier in the year and spent half an hour trying to shock them with lewd jokes and outrageous opinions. I thought they were going to have me escorted from the building — but instead they offered me a wheelbarrow full of money,” Yiannopoulos told The Hollywood Review.

Threshold Editions and Chicago Review of Books have not returned The Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
