Fox Sports pundit and Outkick the Coverage founder Clay Travis blamed the media for falsely building up Ronda Rousey as an incredible fighter.
“I believe this one hundred percent with every fabric and fiber of my being, Ronda Rousey was entirely a media creation from people who wanted to be a part of the ‘I am a woman hear me roar.’ Like the whole Hillary Clinton is going to shatter the glass ceiling. Like oh, ‘Ronda Rousey is here and women can beat ass as bad as men.’ No they can’t. Ronda Rousey was a media creation,” Travis said Monday on his hit radio show “Outkick the Coverage.” (SLIDESHOW: THESE ARE THE SEXIEST PHOTOS OF RONDA ROUSEY ON THE INTERNET)
Rousey was thoroughly blasted by Amanda Nunes in the first round of their fight at UFC 207. The loss followed her shocking defeat to Holly Holm at UFC 193, and likely represents the end of her fighting career. (SLIDESHOW: These UFC Women Really Hate Wearing Clothes)
