The latest Democrat slogan parodying the president-elect’s campaign mantra, “Make America Sick Again”, isn’t popular, according to a new poll released by conservative activist group American Action Network Tuesday.

The poll was conducted by the GS Strategy Group and found that only 32 percent of registered voters agree with Sen. Chuck Schumer when he says that Republicans want to “make America sick again,” according to his latest slogan created in Democratic efforts to save the affordable care act.

Even worse for Schumer, 57.1 percent of registered Democrats reported they disagreed with the statement, as well as 64.8 percent of Independent voters. The poll found that nearly 70 percent of respondents support the repeal of Obamacare. Fifty-four percent of all voters favor either a complete repeal or major changes to the controversial law.

The number one reason for the strong opposition was overall cost of the program. Forty-four percent said that the new system was just too expensive, and that the law generally increased the cost of healthcare. The second highest reason for opposing was the health insurance mandate.

The poll consisted of 36 percent Democratic respondents, 34 percent Republican respondents, and 24 percent Independent respondents. the poll included 1,000 registered voters, and ran from Jan. 3 through Jan. 5. The poll included a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points in either direction.
