Donald Trump wasn’t kidding when he promised to bring jobs back to America. In the months since Trump was elected the 45th president of the United States, all sorts of companies are expanding their workforces. Today, Amazon announced that it will be adding 100,000 American jobs over the next 18 months, upping its employee ranks from 180,000 all the way to 280,000.

Amazon has always placed a strong emphasis on putting communities to work. Last year, the company pledged to train and hire 25,000 veterans and military spouses. Furthermore, “Amazon businesses like Marketplace and Amazon Flex will continue to create hundreds of thousands of jobs for people across the U.S. who want the flexibility to start their own business, work part-time or set their own schedule.”

Although left-wing “news” outlets will surely attempt to label this as a coincidence, it is clear that some publications are finally starting to acknowledge the connection. For example CNET tweeted,

One week before Inauguration Day, and steps are already being taken to Make America Great Again. Thank you, President-Elect Trump. And thank you, Amazon.
