Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the people behind the salacious dossier on Donald Trump published by BuzzFeed are “worse than prostitutes,” the Associated Press reported Tuesday. Putin dismissed the unverified allegations in the dossier as “fake.”

Putin also accused the outgoing Obama administration of using the dossier to try and “undermine the legitimacy of the president-elect” and his “convincing” election victory, according to the AP.

Putin’s comments come as Trump and the U.S. intelligence community have butted heads over the document.

Trump suggested CIA Director John Brennan was behind the dossier’s leak, a suggestion Brennan was quick to dismiss, saying he hasn’t even read the dossier.

“First of all, this is not intelligence community information,” Brennan said in a Wall Street Journal interview Monday.

“I would have no interest in trying to give that dossier any additional airtime,” Brennan continued, before noting he hasn’t read the document.

Trump and the intelligence community previously butted heads over Russian involvement in the hacking of the Democratic National Committee and Clinton campaign chair John Podesta, although Trump has now come to accept Russia’s role in the hacks.
