Trump’s Official POTUS Account Sends Its First Tweet

President Donald Trump’s official White House Twitter account sent its first tweet Friday.

Once he was sworn in, Trump sent a series of tweets from his personal account. (RELATED: Trump’s First Tweets As President Come From @realDonaldTrump)

The @POTUS handle switched over from former President Barack Obama to Trump, and the account sent its first tweet at 2:11 pm EST.
