Female supporters of President Donald Trump aren’t sure why the Women’s March was necessary.

While they supported the group’s right to protest, a lot of pro-Trump women thought the march focused on divisive issues, reports The Wichita Eagle.

“They can protest, it’s their right, but don’t call it the ‘Women’s March.’ That makes it sounds like it’s a big unified thing, when really they’re picking very divisive issues and protesting against Trump – who by the way is now our president – instead of for something that would bring us all together,” Ellie Todd of South Carolina said.

The Women’s March in Washington, D.C., is expected to draw approximately 500,000 women to the city. The event plans to show the world that “women’s rights are human rights.” Attendees are marching for issues like gay rights, abortion, immigration and the environment.

Another Trump supporter said the march didn’t make sense, because women aren’t being forced to give up their rights.

“I think it’s great, do your thing, but I just don’t know what they’re doing it for. They’re talking about rights, women’s rights, but what rights are being taken away from any women?” Susan Clarke questioned.
Some women took issue with the fact that women who are pro-life were not invited to participate in the march. The New Wave Feminists, a pro-life group, found itself uninvited for its anti-abortion stance.
“They were pro-life, and apparently they weren’t allowing pro-life women to be part of the march,” Sheree Marre said, speaking about her own pro-life friends who wanted to join the protest.
The protest proves Trump’s point that his opponents are sore losers, Lydia Van pointed out.

“They want to march because they’re scared of Trump or whatever, fine. But that won’t do anything,” Amalia Alvarez, an elderly lady from Miami, added. “I think they just have not accepted that Trump won, and it’s a way to demonstrate against him indirectly.”
