Several Obama administration cabinet members popped up on Saturday at marches in Washington, D.C., against President Donald Trump.
Democratic New York Rep. Paul Tonko tweeted a photo of himself standing alongside former EPA administrator Gina McCarthy and colleague Janet McCabe, who was responsible for regulating air and radiation.
“Loved sharing a laugh with my friend @GinaEPA & members of her former @EPA team demonstrating at the #WomensMarch today,” the New York Democrat tweeted Saturday.

McCarthy was seen holding a sign that read “Love Is Love/Climate Change Is Real,” while McCabe flashed a placard reading, “Respect Existence or Expect Resistance.”
The former EPA head was responsible for administering the agency’s Clean Power Plan, a rule that heaped a hefty regulatory burden on the country’s coal plants. Republicans once called for her resignation after an EPA agent caused the Gold King Mine spill in 2015.
Former Secretary of Interior Sally Jewell, meanwhile, tweeted a photo of protesters at the march and included a text that read: “Enjoying role as citizen. This is what democracy looks like – all voices important! Thanks NPS US Park Police for keeping everyone safe!”

Obama’s secretary of state, John Kerry, decided to get on on the action as well. He can be seen walking his dog, Ben, through a throng of protesters marching against Trump.
