The Trump Organization’s exclusive Palm Beach Resort, Mar-a-Lago, doubled its membership fees after President Donald Trump won the White House.

Fees increased to $200,000, or $14,000 every month, CNBC reports. The increase reportedly took effect Jan. 1, and the resort was reportedly weighing the option of raising fees for some time. This is not the first time, however, that the membership fee at the resort was this high. The membership fee was cut from $200,000 to $100,000 in 2012.

Since the resort “is a private company,” it does “not disclose,” information regarding increases in membership, a spokesperson for the resort tells The Daily Caller News Foundation. Membership at Mar-a-Lago promotes, “the highest privileges and an elite lifestyle,” offering guests a living “reserved for a select few,” according to the resort’s website.

President Trump referred to the resort as “the Winter White House,” in a tweet on Jan. 18.

Trump resigned as president and CEO of the Trump Organization on Jan. 19, just one day before becoming president.
