Speaker of the House Paul Ryan transferred millions from his campaign account to the Republican Party Thursday, according to Politico.

Ryan transferred nearly $3.3 million from his campaign committee, and an additional $105,000 from a leadership PAC to the National Republican Congressional Committee in January.

Ryan worked as a substantial fundraiser during the 2016 election cycle, topping former Speaker of the House John Boehner’s record for party fundraising.

Democrats announced several races they planned to target in 2018, and several other groups, including the right-leaning Koch network, said they intended on doubling planned funding.

Fundraising trends may signal that the controversies ignited by Trump’s November win are far from over.
