“My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom,” the president tweeted. “She is a great person — always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!”

Trump later retweeted the message from his @POTUS account.

Last week, Nordstrom — which has nearly 350 stores nationwide — announced it was dropping Ivanka Trump’s clothing and shoe lines from its stock in a decision based on the sales performance of the her brand.

Some critics suspected the decision to drop her line was because of a weekslong “Grab Your Wallet” campaign that encouraged shoppers to boycott the president and his daughter’s brands.

The co-founder of the campaign told the New York Times she was “thrilled” about Nordstrom’s decision.

“I am absolutely thrilled, and I know the vast majority of Grab Your Wallet participants will be as well,” Shannon Coulter said. (RELATED: Nordstrom Cuts Ties With Ivanka Trump’s Fashion Brand)
