As you know, all anti-Republican demonstrations are “mostly peaceful.” Whenever leftists gather, it’s always a mere handful of “outside agitators” who make trouble for everybody else. That held true on Inauguration Day, when the rioting was limited to fewer than 215 black-bloc rapscallions. Whew!
A total of 214 people have been indicted so far on felony rioting charges in connection with the Inauguration Day protests in downtown Washington…
On Tuesday, a grand jury in DC charged five individuals. This was in addition to the 209 other defendants who’ve been indicted on rioting charges earlier this month…
They assaulted a limousine driver, smashed windows of local businesses, destroyed a government vehicle and committed “violent and destructive acts,” according to the indictment.
Sounds like free speech to me!
Kudos to our friends on the left for keeping Inauguration Day so relatively peaceful. Out of the thousands of people who gathered in DC that day, fewer than 18 dozen rioted. Coulda been a lot worse, right?
