This sale is billed as “up to 30 percent off shelving and furniture.” Which isn’t necessarily false. (Okay, some are more than 30 percent off, but that’s to be expected with Amazon deals). But there is another way it could be marketed: up to 30 percent off Sandusky products, since that’s the company that makes these shelving units and such. But you can forgive Amazon not wanting to highlight the name Sandusky, which is sort of toxic these days due to the monstrous actions of the former Penn State football coach. I just feel bad for the store.
You shouldn’t let the unfortunate name keep you from taking advantage of this deal, though. There are nearly a dozen items included, and here are some examples:
Sandusky PT5027 Heavy-Duty Pallet Truck, 5,500 lb. Capacity on sale for $356.60
It actually looks like the company is really pushing the name “Sandusky Lee” these days, which should come as no surprise. Still, it would probably be better to find a way to drop the name altogether.
