China tried using drone technology to film tigers playing in the snow, but it didn’t go according to plan.

A video showing Siberian tigers pursuing an aerial drone at a reserve in Heilongjiang, a province located in northern China. Turning the device into a cat toy, the tigers run the device down and take it out mid-flight.

Not only did they catch it, but they tried to eat it.

WATCH:

China has received some negative attention for its chubby tigers in recent weeks.

What a magnificent beast…

As they have the power and stamina to chase and take down a flying drone, the tigers in the video appear to be a little healthier than their overweight counterparts, but they might want to avoid eating plastic and electrical drone components.

The Siberian tiger is listed as an endangered species in China.
