A UPS driver raced to help a Phoenix police officer apprehend a robbery suspect Wednesday.

Adam Faz, an employee with UPS for almost 13 years, was delivering packages as usual when he noticed a police officer struggling to capture a suspect, reports AZ Family.

The police officer could not restrain Cody Cherry-Cisco, the suspect in a burglary investigation. Faz, who was in the middle of delivering packages, decided to assist the officer.

“He was chasing him, and then they got on the ground a little bit, and the cop looked up at me, and I asked if he needed help, and before I could even get it out, he said, ‘Yeah, help me out,'” Faz explained.

Faz then stepped in and put his knees on the suspect’s back to bring him down. The two managed to get Cherry-Cisco into handcuffs.

“He swung at me a couple of times, but he missed, he was yelling at us, cussing at us and stuff,” Faz said. “The heroes are the cops. People don’t realize that’s what they every single day. I just deliver packages.”

Cherry-Cisco was charged with resisting arrest and burglary.

A FedEx driver also turned out to be a hero when he stepped in to rescue an American flag that protesters were trying to burn. (RELATED: MUST WATCH: FedEx Driver Saves An American Flag Protesters Try To Burn)

The FedEx driver dove into the middle of the protest, grabbed the American flag in one hand and held off the anti-Trump protesters with a fire extinguisher.

“Get out of here!” he shouted at the protesters. “All you guys! Back off! Back off!”
