A police sharpshooter accidentally shot two people while French President Francois Hollande was delivering a speech Tuesday.

The accidental discharge occurred while Hollande was inaugurating a new high-speed rail line in the town of Villognon, according to Charente regional official Pierre N’Gahane. A loud bang can be heard as Hollande was delivering his speech, immediately drawing the attention of the French leader. After a brief pause, Hollande continued his speech. The two victims were reportedly sustained slight injuries.
